I have dedicated almost every day for the past 5 years to conducting countless hours of research while scouring the Great Pacific Northwest and beyond, with my camera, to find the best nature and wildlife destinations so that you don’t have to.
My bachelors degree in business from Western Washington University has served as a backbone for my profound success as a photography instructor and tour guide. I understand that there are different learning styles and take special care to tailor my instruction for my audience. I work well with all demographics including children, seniors, beginners, and advanced photographers alike.
I call on an extensive network that I have built online and with other nature photographers which enables me to get to the minute updates about the best shooting locations. I now spend around 5 days a week in the field guiding tours and scouting locations to give you the best possible odds to find the subjects we are looking for. I have also been granted access to privately owned lands that are otherwise inaccessible to the individual.
I am tenacious about staying on the cutting edge of the worlds fast moving photography industry. I am permanently enrolled in online courses to stay on top of software (like CS6) and new shooting techniques (like DSLR Video).

Professional Affiliations
Aaron Baggenstos is an Award-winning professional nature and wildlife photographer from Seattle, Washington. Aaron has captured images across Washington State, the US, Canada, Europe, and South America. His photographs have been featured on both KING and KOMO newscasts, in magazines, newspapers, and numerous web articles. He has also written and had published two books Wildlife of Juanita Bay and Wildlife of Lake Washington. In the Fall of 2011 Aaron co-hosted two episodes of the popular PBS television Series “Wild Photo Adventures” with Doug Gardner which is currently airing nationally on PBS.

Along with guiding tours and instructing photography workshops, Aaron also enjoys public speaking and giving slideshows. To date he has spoken at multiple Audubon chapters and birding groups, National Wildlife Refuges, book stores, and other local interest groups.
Through his work Aaron hopes to inspire others to photograph, enjoy, and take action to protect, local and worldwide ecosystems.
